WPI Economics has released its 2018 update on off-site construction.
Shedding light on the various Government commitments to greater modernisation of the construction sector, and specifically the use of off-site methods, this new report builds upon the findings of the 2017 report using newly-available data on sector-level productivity to demonstrate how increasing the speed of take up of off-site construction methods could deliver tangible benefits across the UK.
The report, commissioned by Heathrow, features case studies exploring the successful use of off-site construction and looks into Heathrow’s new logistics hubs and its use of off-site methods.
