Rachel Gregory

Rachel is a Senior Policy Consultant at WPI Economics, who supports and leads projects in a variety of policy areas. An experienced policy professional, Rachel has a background in poverty, debt and financial services. Prior to WPI Economics, Rachel worked for a decade in the charity sector, securing change across a number of policy areas including social security, energy and debt management. She has experience in policy research and analysis, campaigns, external affairs, lived-experience participation and parliamentary engagement. She also chaired the Cabinet Office’s Fairness Group Communications Sub-group between 2021 and 2023, and has been a member of several regulatory and departmental stakeholder and advisory groups around vulnerability and financial difficulty. Rachel holds a first-class honours degree in social policy and economics from the London School of Economics.
