Marc Brazzill

Marc is an experienced policy researcher who joined us in 2022. Since joining the team he has lead projects centred on survey analysis and public polling, including for the Rail Delivery Group and the Employee Ownership Association. Marc also brings a specialism in data visualisation and data dashboards to a range of projects. For example, he has developed a dashboard for the Health Foundation on the wider determinants of health in local authorities, and has created a series of interactive visualisations for the Trust for London to explore what the Census tells us about poverty and deprivation in London. Prior to joining WPI Economics, Marc spent 11 years living in Japan where he obtained an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science before working as an Assistant Professor. His research focused on higher education policy in the UK and Japan, and on public opinion towards social and welfare policy.
