Lucy joined us as an economist in 2023. Since then, Lucy has played a central role in our portfolio of evaluation and economic appraisal projects, applying her specialism in economic analysis and modelling. This has included work on value for money assessments and economic modelling for central government departments and for the Scottish Government, as well as applying her expertise to economic impact analyses for businesses and third-sector organisations. More widely, she draws on her coding expertise to undertake quantitative analysis with our Data Insights team.
Prior to joining us, Lucy worked in an economic and financial consultancy based in the North West, assisting with the preparation of business cases and economic appraisal. Lucy holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Liverpool, where she was awarded a Distinction and prize for the highest overall mark in her cohort. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Durham University.
