Edward McPherson

Edward is a Senior Consultant at WPI Economics, with experience of policy research and quantitative methods, including statistical modelling and micro-simulation. Edward leads the quantitative research stream of the Poverty Strategy Commission. Prior to joining WPI Economics, he supported the work of the Poverty Strategy Commission and Social Metrics Commission as an analyst for the Legatum Institute. He previously worked as a data analyst, building statistical time-series revenue forecasts for clients. Edward holds a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Warwick, and is experienced with the programming language Python and the statistics software Stata.
