WPI Economics has released its full report on the economic implications of off-site construction in the UK.
The 19 page report details the situation that the UK construction sector currently finds itself in, how off-site construction is being used to revitalise the industry and spread economic growth around the country, and what steps the government can take to further galvanise economic gains resulting from such off-site construction methods.
The report was commissioned by Heathrow, and features a case study exploring the case of Heathrow’s expansion as a paradigm of utilising off-site methods; and its economic ramifications.
