European Metropolitan Chambers Summit

On Wednesday, 5th April 2017, Guy Miscampbell spoke on a panel at the Alliance of European Metropolitan Chambers Summit on ‘Maintaining commerce and avoiding barriers to trade and exports’, where he presented research from the 2017 Trade Prospects Index. The session focused on the future of EU-UK trade, and what the “freest possible trade in goods and services” would look like post-Brexit.

The panel was held as part of the Alliance of European Metropolitan Chambers summit on Brexit, organised by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and hosted at City Hall. The summit was addressed earlier by Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, and at the event a joint declaration calling for transitional deal was signed by 10 different Chambers of Commerce.
